Sony Ericsson P1i Gets BlackBerry

BlackBerry Connect will be pre-loaded on the Sony Ericsson P1i and supports push-based wireless email services, including attachment viewing and wireless email synchronization, in conjunction with both BlackBerry Enterprise Server and BlackBerry Internet ServiceThe P1i is Sony Ericsson's fifth-generation P-series smartphone and combines a stylish, premium finish with a pocket-sized form factor.
It lets the user choose how they interact with the phone by using its three-way input interface, as well as manage new business contacts through the 3.2 megapixel camera with auto focus that doubles as a business card scanner. The Sony Ericsson P1i operates on hi-speed UMTS and supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and VoIP.

Existing Sony Ericsson P1i users can download the BlackBerry Connect v4.0 software from the Sony Ericsson.
