A notable fact about the HTC Snap is that it runs a very dependable Widows Mobile OS (v6.1). It also has an integrated GPS function as well as Wi-Fi capability. The battery life is solid as it will allow up to almost 500 hours of stand-by time and more than 8 hours of talk time.


However, what sets this one apart is its fully-functional QWERTY keyboard. The keys are dome-shaped and are bigger than usual which makes it easy to type Emails and text messages. The HTC Snap is perfect for the employee who needs to keep in touch while on-the-go.

The Downside

The biggest criticism of the HTC Snap is its lacklustre display screen. Most of the newer models, such as the HTC Touch Pro2 and the HTC Touch Diamond2 boast resolutions of 480 x 800 pixels. This is a far cry from the HTC Snap’s 2.4-inch display screen that only supports 320 x 240 pixels. This is by no means cutting edge and you shouldn’t expect to see graphics of the highest quality. But then again the HTC Touch Pro2 and the HTC Touch Diamond2 both have touch screen displays while the HTC Snap has a QWERTY keyboard. Perhaps the disparity is justified as the Snap is obviously targeting a different market segment.
